Vieve, winner of the 2007 IDEX Reborn Convention in Las Vegas for Best One of a Kind (OOAK) Custom Designed Cloth Body, brings her babies to life in a smoke-free, pet-free, perfume-free studio. She takes meticulous care with each creation.
Her unique doll bodies, many anatomically correct, are designed for each sculpt and made from the softest ultrasuede in a shade matching the head and limbs. There are no unsightly, rough ties showing. Bodies are filled with non-toxic premium polyfill and weighted with non-toxic resin and glass pellets. NO sand is ever used. No magnet are used for pacifiers or bows.
Genevieve uses premium quality, permanent non-toxic paint. When not using real hair she uses the finest mohair, always micro-rooted. Hair is sealed inside the head with high grade silicone, a non-toxic polymer which is waterproof and produces the best adherence to the vinyl/silicone. Open eyed babies are fitted with Germand-made hand-blown glass eyes.
Genevieve designs and makes outfits the babies are wearing. Each outfit is unique and will not be reproduced.

toadhall@mts.net In 2006 La Doll-ce Vita held an exhibit for the community of Inwood, Manitoba, Canada Centennial celebrations in July 2006. She attends major doll shows in Canada: Winnipeg, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary and many crafts fairs in Manitoba.
Genevieve is a member of the Manitoba Doll Club and has again exhibited at the Manitoba Doll Club Show, October 14, 2007 held at The Victoria Inn, in Winnipeg.
November 24, Genevieve will be at the Teulon Farmers' Market Craft Fair, held at the Centennial Hall in Teulon from 10:00 am-3:00 pm.
December 1, Genevieve will be at the Winnipeg Beach Craft Fair, held in the Winnipeg Beach school in Winnipeg Beach from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

Original One-Of-A-Kind is a doll that has been sculpted directly in a medium by the artist. The OOAK work is unique. There are no reproduction of it.
Newborning is a kit (head and limbs) of blank vinyl/silicone sculpted by an artist and reproduced by a doll company. The reborner artist paints, makes a body and roots hair as well as eyelashes to give it life.
Reborning is a play doll that has been stripped of paint and hair. The reborner artist paints, makes or buys a body and roots hair or applies a wig as well as eyelashes to give it life.
An enhanced doll is a play doll which has received a little blushing, possibly a manicure and new clothes.
